I’ve been going to Cindy since her last salon, and she never disappoints! Sometimes I get indecisive with my hair, but Cindy is always super patient and takes the time to talk through all my ideas with me. She explains the process so I know exactly what to expect, which I really appreciate. She always makes sure I’m happy with the final result, and she gives great tips on maintenance and keeping my hair healthy. I’ve often driven past Jenn Shin Studio when I’m in Rockville, and since I was looking for a new stylist, I decided to finally reach out. From my first conversation with Jenn to scheduling my appointment, she was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. She truly cares about her clients — even though she wasn’t accepting new ones, she took the time to recommend stylists at her studio who would be a great fit for my needs. I ended up booking with Cindy, and she did not disappoint! She was so sweet and did an amazing job with both my cut and color. I asked for layers and a color that would blend my grays, and she nailed it! I highly recommend Jenn Shin Studio — and especially Cindy!

Rachel at Jenn Shin Studios is an incredibly talented stylist. Her attention to detail is so impressive, and her ability to translate the consultation into an amazing result is unmatched. I love how she continuously checks in during the appointment, giving me options and explaining them in detail. When I came in for my first appointment, we worked out a long-term plan to reshape my hair from previous cuts without compromising my length. She really listened to my preferences and gave me valuable feedback. The final result was even better than I envisioned, and I have left every appointment feeling so grateful to be her client. A few months ago, I came to Rachel with severe chemical damage (this DID NOT HAPPEN at Jenn Shin Studios). Although my waist-length hair was completely destroyed, I was comforted knowing that Rachel would make sure I left her chair happy-- not with a cut that was "good enough" considering the circumstances, but genuinely pleased with the result. A stranger literally stopped me on the street less than 10 minutes after I left the salon and complimented my hair, which, earlier that day, was completely wrecked. Rachel and the whole team at Jenn Shin Studios are truly the best; I couldn't recommend them more. Bonus if you can get your hair washed by Sofia, one of the assistants-- I would come just for this because she is THAT GOOD.

I love Jenn Shin Studios!!! I’ve been going to Cristy here for a few years now and she does such a great job with my hair everytime. She’s always open to trying different colors and styles I want to do, and she always takes the time to make sure I get the result I want. I even moved out of Rockville but I still come here because they really make the experience and the outcome worth the cost!! 💕
